Activités de recherche

Développement et maintenance de modèles informatiques en géochimie
Kindis : modélisation thermodynamique et cinétique des interactions eau-roche dans un milieu fermé homogène
Therma : modélisation thermodynamique des interactions eau-roche dans un milieu fermé homogène sous gradient thermique
Kirmat : logiciel de transport-réactif permettant de calculer l’évolution au cours du temps d’un milieu poreux parcouru par un fluide
Nanokin : simulation de la germination et de la croissance des phases minérales au contact d’une solution aqueuse. Prise en compte des variations de taille et de composition chimique des particules au cours du temps

Enseignement / formation

- Participation aux enseignements du Master National Argiles et à l’International Master in Advanced Clay Science à l’Université de Poitiers (introduction à la modélisation des interactions eaux-roches)
- Initiation et formation aux modèles géochimiques développés au LHYGES (thésards, postdoc, organismes extérieurs comme l’ANDRA)

Chantiers en cours

- Extension de la modélisation de la germination et de la croissance des particules minérales aux solutions solides binaires idéales et non-idéales.
- Collaboration avec l’Université de la Réunion pour modéliser les réactions géochimiques d’un fluide au contact avec un massif basaltique (expertise des simulations réalisées par les équipes associées, transfert de compétences, etc.)
- Prise en compte des équations d’état des gaz dans les modèles géochimiques
- Participation au projet Destress (Demonstration of soft stimulation treatments of geothermal reservoirs), mise au point d’un modèle de transport réactif 1D avec prise en compte de la diffusion de chaleur.
- Développement d’une plateforme numérique permettant l’utilisation des modèles de géochimie locaux au travers d’une interface WEB. Étude de faisabilité sur le modèle Kindis.
